The Mint Chicks Go Mod for Charity

Sixties classic 'She's a Mod' by Ray Columbus and The Invaders has been given a reworking by The Mint Chicks.

'She's a Mod' is a song that transcends the generations and is loved by young and old.

The recording follows Ray Columbus and The Invaders being honoured with the New Zealand Herald Legacy Award at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards and inducted by RIANZ and APRA into the NZ Music Hall of Fame.

This special tribute is the first in a new RIANZ initiative to release a recording of the legacy performance at each New Zealand music awards.

All profits from the sale of the single go to the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre, a charitable organisation that helps special needs children communicate through music.
