Our primary aim here at the Centre is make music therapy available to all in need, and to that end we subsidise the cost of all our sessions. We receive no statutory funding and therefore need to raise $840,000 each year to continue to keep the Centre, and all of our outreach and satellite programmes, running. We actively seek gifts and donations and welcome any fundraising events run on our behalf - we are extremely grateful for all donations, large or small!
Gigs, art shows, raffles, garage sales, mufti days, cakestalls, sponsored runs, swims and bike rides ... these are all great ways to have some fun and raise funds to assist the work we do here at the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre. We have brochures, pull up banners, collection buckets and marketing materials we can provide for any event you would like to run and may also be able to provide an additional pair or two of hands to help.
So get your friends together, put your thinking caps on, and give Rachel or Jen a call on 09 360 0889 with any ideas you might have. It truly is appreciated!
