Christian Bolland

AUT Masters Student | Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
Auckland Regional Centre

Christian is currently undertaking a Master of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at AUT and comes from a background in education and counselling. He was born in Aotearoa and grew up in the Manawatū. After graduating from university, Christian spent several years teaching children from various age groups overseas before returning home to begin training as a counsellor.

He is a father of two young children and is passionate about supporting young people and their whānau in Aotearoa. Christian is guided by a person-centred approach and believes authentic connections and positive relationships are integral to mental well-being. His experience as a teacher and youth counsellor has given him a deep appreciation for the creative and diverse ways people relate, heal, and grow. Christian grew up in a musical family and has played in folk bands throughout New Zealand and overseas.

In his spare time, Christian enjoys playing with his tamariki, exploring new places to eat in Tāmaki Makaurau and playing gigs with his partner.
