Mariana is a flute player with many years of experience performing in bands and orchestras. Her musical life combined with her love of contemporary romance stories inspired her to create the Allegretto Band series.

 Mariana lives in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. When not writing or playing her flute, she enjoys running and fawning over Art Deco fashions.
